Q « «

Why are all of your guitars neck-through instead of bolt-on or set-neck?

A « «

We manufacture guitars with all styles of neck joints for other oem's but for our own we use what neck-through because it allows us to machine the entire guitar at once as a complete unit. This means the most accurate fret work and perfect alignment of all pockets and components. And no joints of any kind to cause trouble even after years of use and abuse.

Q « «

Why do all your guitars come with a 12" fingerboard radius?

A « «

In the begining we did compound radius fingerboards. This is the best way for the frets to follow the natural curvature of the strings. We stopped doing this because although our machines can cut this radius to within .002". The problem starts when the sanding starts. There is just no way to keep that kind of accuracy when sanding a compound radius. We have invested tons of time and money in making our 12" radius boards the best out there. We can do any radius including compound as a custom order, but we feel that for 99% of guitarists out there, 12" is a good middle ground.

A « «

Q « «

What kind of finish do you use?

A « «

Thin polyester base coat and thin polyurethane clear. This means that glass like finish will last forever with no cracking, checking, fading or shrinking for years to come while still allowing all the beautiful woods to do their thing.

Q « «

Q « «

Why so few models to choose from?

A « «

We are designing new stuff all the time. We wont put out a new model until we are 100% satisfied with it. Expect one or two new models per year. If you want something different, try the custom shop.
